I haven't updated my blog in a long time. I have been busy working and that has kept me and my family so busy that there isn't much time for the computer. I am at work right now but I have 15 minutes before I can go home, so I thought I would bust out a little 10 minute blogging with what has been going on.
- First, the most exciting news, we are expecting baby #2! I am 13 weeks and due March 7. It was a surprise but very welcomed. I can't wait to be a mom to another little one. I am excited for a little baby but nervous about having 2 kids to take care of. Deegan wants all my attention.
- Been very busy with doctors appointments. I have to go to my OB every 2 weeks and I have to go to my Cardiologist every month and get an Echo done. I also have to go to my high risk doctor every 6 weeks. I was diagnosed with postpartum cardiomyopathy when Deegan was 6 days old, so we are scared that it can come back. But the good thing this time around is that we know my condition and we know what to look out for.
- We are going to Disneyland! Kevin won the grand prize on the radio and we won a 2 night stay at Disneyland and 3 day passes to the park. We are going the first week of October. Can't wait!! Deegan has been to Disneyland once, when he was 6 months old, but now he is older and walking and we will have so much fun. It will be our last vacation as a family of 3. We are going to the park on Saturday and not leaving until Monday. Can't wait to have a great family vacation!
- In about 2 weeks will mine and Kevin's 9 year dating anniversary. We still celebrate it (not by doing anything big, but just not honoring the day) because we dated for 6 years before we got married.
- Deegan is a crazy little boy! He is all over the place. He loves books, trucks and cars. He is so sweet and loves to give kisses and hugs. I love when he wraps his little arms around me! He is talking a lot too! He says a few words but most of it is just baby talk. He sleeps great (knock on wood!). Since I have been back to work (almost 4 months) he has not woken up once in the middle of the night!
- Family is good. My parents are just doing their thing. Ryan and Sarah and the kids are good. Lily is one and getting ready to walk. The Clawson side of the family is all good too. Riley just started pre-school. I miss those girls! Aunt Debbie came over and watched Deegan on Saturday night so we could go out with our friends. Her and Gary enjoy playing with Deegan.
Okay time is up. I need to log out and go get my little man! Hopefully I will update more often! Maybe we will find out the sex of baby #2 on Friday!!
