Today is the one year anniversary of my mommy group! I have been in the group for about 11 months. I found it through
meetup.com when it only had about 5 members and now there are 26 first time moms in the group! All of the babies in the group were born between August 2009 and December 2010. It has been soooo nice to know so many moms in Las Vegas that are going through the same thing as me and have the same questions that I do. I don't think I would of been as good of a stay-at-home-mom without these women! Being a part of this group helps me get out of the house! Not just during the day, but at night and the weekends too! I think of them as my "co-workers"! I really think I will be friends with some of these ladies for a long time!
Today we celebrated by having a playdate at the park and enjoying the beautiful 75 degree weather and some cake! Can't wait for the another year of celebrating 2nd birthdays walking, running, talking and throwing tantrums toddlers!

I love you all so very much! I don't think I could have survived the past year without all of you wonderful ladies. I'm sooo glad you and Deegan are apart of our lives!

It is so neat to have a friend who has a boy so close to my boy's age & we get along really good too :) I look forward to many more playdates, hangouts, parties - whatever life may bring with ya'll! Hi! I was trying to figure out how to reply to your comment on my blog about cupcake centerpieces. However, I honestly have read blogs daily for years, but know nothing about how to reply back, or even update my own blog for that matter. lol...I just wanted to say that you're so sweet for the compliments! Thank you! Honestly, my baby boy turned one last week and I had seen some adorable cupcake centerpieces all pink with white flowers instead of suckers. I had to come up with a way to attempt to make them a little more fun and less girly so I could incorp them into the party....and this is how they turned out. I figured if they looked a little bit girly it was alright for a 1st birthday party. lol... Having two little boys, this is as close as I will ever get to enjoying those cute "girl" things...super heros, cars, and action from here on out. lol.. BTW, we heart cloth diapers too! lol..
