Playdate and Sewing project

The weekend is here! We have a busy weekend. Tomorrow morning we are getting up early and going to this truck store that Kevin likes because they are having sales and doing giveways (Kevin loves anything free! He is hoping to get a free t-shirt), then going to pick up our basket from Bountiful Baskets, then hoping to go to Trader Joe's, then nap time for Deegan, then at 2pm going to Belly Bliss to drop of the donations that I have been collecting for Safe Nest, then hoping to meet up with a friend that is in town. Then on Sunday we have NO plans! We need to get some stuff done around the house.

I hosted a playdate at my house on Thursday. It was a good time! I told myself I should host a playdate once a month, because it really makes me clean up my house for company! There were 4 mommies (Bonnie, Angie, Molly and Amanda) and 6 babies (Deegan, Jarrett, Gracyn, Violet, Tennyson and Connor). Here are a few pictures from the playdate. I sewed this sewing machine cover tonight. It was a fun project. Every time I sew something, I learn something new. It is kind of like designing stuff in Photoshop...there are so many things to learn, you learn something new every time!  I had all this fabric just sitting around, so it was nice to use it. My birthday is next month! I am starting my birthday wish list! Kevin and my mom always ask me what I want and can never think of anything. I could spend hours on Amazon.com. I want sewing stuff and this necklace.
