Rockin' the hawk

I took these pictures after I got Deegan dressed today and he just looked too cute! He had on a new shirt that he got from Aunt Mary and Uncle Larry for Christmas and I put a little gel in his hair. Kevin and I love that our little boy has a natural mohawk. When we are out in public, people always say something about how cute his hair is. I wonder if his hair will every lay flat? One day a little boy asked if his hair hurt because it was spiky!

Today he was hanging out in his new beanbag chair that he got for his birthday from his mommy and daddy. He was enjoying some goldfish crackers before we were off to run errands. We have a busy week ahead of us - playdate at Bonnie's tomorrow, shopping for a new digital camera, packing for California, birthday party on Wednesday. Hopefully we can get a trip into the library. I have really been wanting to get some more children's books. We have been trying to read more. We now read every night before bedtime. Deegan really loves it, and so do I. I now know the stories by heart, so I find myself just staring at Deegan as I read, just watching his face and his eyes wonder around the page looking at the pictures. Every night we read "Goodnight Moon" and "Love You Forever". We need some new stories to read.
