Weekend in California

We had a great weekend in California. We celebrated Deegan's birthday on Saturday at my parents house. Then on Sunday we went to Disneyland. It was a quick weekend but we had a great time.

The party at my parents house a lot of fun! My family was there and so was Kevin's family. All of Deegan's cousins were there too! I forgot to get a picture of Deegan with all this cousin. Deegan got an awesome truck that his Grandpa Clawson made for him. He made it at work and it was all made out of metal. The hood opens and the doors open too. There was a bed in the back that had a tailgate too and lights! He put a lot of work into it. Deegan loved it! All of his cousins were fighting over it. Kevin's dad use to build trucks for Kevin's and his brothers when they were little, so it was just perfect for him to make Deegan one (Deegan is the first grandson on Kevin's side). The truck is still at Kevin's parents house, since we flew to California this time. Hopefully Kevin's parents will come out and visit soon and can bring it with them.

This picture is Kevin's oldest brother, Curtis, playing with the first thing that Kevin's dad made for them. It was a forklift. 

Here is another truck that Kevin's dad made for them. This one was made all out of wood. It was a truck with a trailer. Kevin said him and his brothers use to all fit in the trailer!

We also got to go to Dylan's birthday party on Saturday. His party was at 5:30pm and Deegan's was earlier that day at noon. Two birthday parties in one day! Deegan and Dylan are 4 days apart. We were excited to be able to go to his party too!

Then we went to Disneyland for a few hours on Sunday. My brother works at Disneyland hotel and got us in for free. Ryan, Sarah and Lily went with us and we met up with Heather and Dylan. Deegan got his first pair of Mickey ears and got to meet Mickey Mouse! We only stayed for a few hours. Deegan was getting tired and I think a little overwhelmed. We went on Snow White, Pirates and the carousel.
